This volunteer opportunity is for high school youth aged 14-18 who want to participate in the Toronto History Museums Youth Volunteer Program. In this weekly program, youth engage in hands-on activities that focus on skill development, peer interaction, and community involvement. The activities and themes change with the seasons, but participants can expect to interact with the public, contribute to museum space activation, and assist in the development of museum programs.
Shifts are flexible, with options on weekends, evenings throughout the year, and weekdays during the summer. There is no minimum commitment required, and youth volunteers will receive two hours of training before starting their volunteer experience.
To apply or learn more, you can visit their website or contact the Toronto History Museums' Youth Volunteer Program at thmyouth@toronto.ca.
